When E told me about this lovely place that he frequented in Sardegna when he was a kid, I thought it would just be another "one of those".
But when he told me that the property was carved out of the rocks because the owners wanted to keep and respect the original natural elements, I was intrigued.
And boy was I in for a treat when we visited.
Everything is just perfect, and that is no exaggeration.
The beach house overlooked the Capo Testa beach with nooks carved out of, yes, rocks.
It was like having an abode that allows to commune and be one with nature. Literally.
Our lovely hostess Jean, who warmly welcomed us, said that this is her lovely "shangri-la".
And there is no need to wonder why.
